Stellantis are arrogant and losing their battles You can't destroy your dealer network and yet expect to survive! Their brands are screwed in Yorkshire, I know this as I've worked for the majority of their dealerships that aren't no more!

If Stellantis won't supply ICE cars, people will just buy from manufacturers who will - it's that simple. Electric cars, especially in the UK with our woefully inadequate charging network and crumbling national grid, simply do not suit a great many people. Beyond that, the majority of people in the UK can't charge at home, a great number of those will not be able to charge at home in the next decade or so (people living in flats, people with no off-street parking and no on-street parking outside their home, etc etc). Ultimately, people don't want to have a car that takes 45 minutes to add 20 miles of charge as I have experienced at supposed "rapid" charging points local to me. The governments will have to bow to the will of the people, at the end of the day. Scrap the ZEV mandate.

Maybe the cars she produces just aren't good enough to attract new buyers. The market will always decide, and it seems to like Teslas, but not Stellantis vehicles. She should answer that question, instead of lots of excuses.

I really feel for the manufacturers who are trying to sell EVs to a market that doesn’t want them, whilst being fined £15k for ICE car sales over their percentage allowance, they are losing money supplying the EV and losing money on the fines if they don’t sell enough EVs. Impossible position
